Marilena Georgiou is a finance professional with extensive experience in audit, accounting, financial management, and strategic consulting. She graduated with First Class Honors in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics in 2009 and became a Chartered Accountant in 2012, as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Marilena began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers Ltd, where she developed expertise in auditing and consulting. She later became the Financial Controller of a Family Office specializing in budgeting, risk management, corporate management, project management and financial modeling to support strategic business goals. She also served as Executive Director for several multinational companies.
Now working as a freelancer, Marilena helps businesses develop strong financial frameworks that support sustainable growth and guides leaders in shaping forward-thinking strategies that drive organizational success. She is also an NLP-certified practitioner and a women’s empowerment holistic coach. She actively supports initiatives that advance women in leadership roles and organizes international events, conferences and retreats that are designed to inspire, mentor, and empower women to excel in their careers and drive change within their organizations.
