Maria Christofi is a PhD candidate in Business Administration. Her research focuses on Assistive Robotic Systems and their role in enhancing quality of life and promoting sustainable mobility—particularly for visually impaired individuals. Maria’s doctoral project, titled “A Strategic System Dynamics Approach for Enhancing Quality of Life and Sustainable Mobility for Visually Impaired Consumers through Assistive Robotic Systems,” bridges technology, business strategy, and social impact. With a strong academic foundation in marketing and business, supported by real-world experience, she brings a multidisciplinary perspective into the classroom. Maria is passionate about emerging technologies, especially AI tools in marketing, and enjoys exploring how innovation can meet human needs. Outside of academia, she loves connecting with people, traveling, and discovering global trends that shape consumer behavior. Maria always looks forward to sharing this passion with her students, encouraging critical thinking, creativity, and purpose-driven learning as they explore how marketing can drive meaningful change.
