Daniel Ellinas is an experienced educator and maritime professional with a diverse background in international trade, shipping management, and supply chain operations. Currently serving as a Purchasing Officer at Safe Bulkers Management and an Instructor at MIEEK, Daniel brings over a decade of hands-on industry experience into the classroom.
He holds an MSc in International Trade and Shipping Management from Frederick University and a BA (Hons) in Business Administration from the University of Portsmouth.
He has worked extensively in both academic and industry settings, including a role as Research & Development Coordinator at Frederick University, where he contributed to EU-funded environmental projects and led department-level communication and training initiatives. His early career in consulting focused on quality, health and safety, and environmental management systems, equipping him with a holistic view of operational efficiency. Fluent in English and Greek, Daniel brings a multidisciplinary perspective and a strong commitment to innovation, sustainability, and lifelong learning.
