About

Athina holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Leicester, an MSc in Clinical Psychology, and a PhD in Psychology from the University of Southampton. Her research focuses on cognitive, emotional, and social factors in mental health disorders such as anxiety, ADHD, and bipolar disorder, using eye-tracking and other behavioural experimental methods. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Cyprus University of Technology and has previously worked at the Open University of Cyprus. Since 2020, she has also been an Honorary Research Fellow at Queen Mary University of London. Athina holds a PGCert in Teaching and Learning, is a Fellow of Advance HE (FHEA), and a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS).
