CYPRUS BUSINESS RESEARCH CENTRE

CIM establishes an Innovative Centre for Business Research

CIM is proud to announce that, following a year of consultation, planning, and determined effort, it is in position to launch its brand new research centre: the Cyprus Centre for Business Research.
The Centre, who is led by Professor Andreas Hadjis (Director) and Ms Myria Kkali (Deputy Director), and which has already recruited academics from Cyprus and abroad in its ranks, has a clear vision about how to facilitate, generate, and promote business research in Cyprus and abroad.

The primary aim of the Centre is to enhance research in the broad field of Business and Management. The Centre has made available four types of Fellowship. Doctoral, Post-doctoral, Senior and Visiting Fellows can apply for funding and support, with several already granted funding. In this way, with junior and senior academics from all over the world coming together, the Centre aspires to create a fertile and fruitful environment for researchers, but also for policymakers and entrepreneurs.

In addition to promoting research within academia, the Cyprus Centre for Business Research also provides consulting services to organisations and executives. It intends to expand academic knowledge in different sectors of the business community at a regional and international level and to provide insights into the business environment through the knowledge and expertise of its members.

The Centre will publish a bi-monthly Business Bulletin (sent out to executives) and an academic journal called The Market: International Journal of Business. It will also organise an annual conference (in March of each year). The conference will be held in conjunction with the Marketing Summit (31 March 2018), which this year is celebrating its 11th anniversary.
