All of the above programmes qualify for a government subsidy (for Cypriot students) of up to 3420 euro.

Payment Terms

Students will not be allowed to sit for their Final Exams UNLESS they have fully fulfilled ALL their financial obligations. Under no circumstances will the Business School issue Examination Results if  ALL financial obligations towards Business School have not been settled.

If a student fails to conform to the terms of payments as stipulated in the Agreement, the Business School  reserves the right to ask the student to leave the Business School;  in such case, all the rights of the student will be forfeited and the Intranet account will be deactivated.

The Business School offers a 15% discount to students (citizens of the European Union), who pay the whole amount of fees prior to the commencement of the programme. This discount cannot be combined with other forms of financial aid and/or scholarships.

Refund Policy (Cash Payments and Total Annual Fee Amount Paid)

If a student decides to cancel their studies, 70% of fees will be refunded, but only if the student contacts Business School within two weeks of the day of registration, and 15 days or more before the commencement of classes. However, if the cancellation of registration is effected only 14 days or less BEFORE the commencement of the programme of study, only 50% of the fees will be refunded. 

After classes have commenced, and in case the student decides to cancel his/her studies, 40% of the fees will be refunded, provided the student contacts the Business School within two weeks of their registration day.

No refunds will be made after the lapse of two weeks from the day of registration with Business School.

Please note that the above refunds apply ONLY in cases of CASH PAYMENTS and only when the TOTAL amount of the annual fees has been paid. In the case of students paying in instalments or post-dated cheques before or after the commencement of classes, NO REFUND will be made.

If, for any reason, a student decides to withdraw from their studies BEFORE the programme is duly completed, the Business School will demand that the student pays all outstanding fees.

Revision Fee

If a student fails an assignment and/or examination, they will have to pay a Revision Fee of 50 Euro per hour in case they request for additional tutorials.

Financial Obligations of Overseas Students

Annual tuition fees must be paid in whole to the Business School PRIOR to the arrival of the student in Cyprus. Fees include the cost of issuing a VISA and deposit with Immigration Authority.

Fees Refund

  • 2 weeks before classes start: 70% on Tuition Fees
  • 1 week before classes start: 50% on Tuition Fees
  • After classes have commenced (up to 2 weeks): 40% on Tuition Fees
  • After the lapse of two weeks from the day of the registration and after classes have commenced: 0%

Payment Terms & Conditions

Rights and Obligations of the Business School
  1. The Business School agrees to secure a place on the indicated programme for the selected Academic Year, to the student.
  2. The details of the Programme to be offered are shown on the relevant Appendix.
  3. The Business School shall use its reasonable endeavours to provide the Student with an education service which may, where appropriate, include a programme of study, classes and tutorials intended to prepare the Student for examinations and qualifications, and with relevant learning support if necessary.
  4. The Business School reserves the right to make variations to the contents or methods of delivery of the programme, to discontinue the programme (or any part of it), to alter the programme emphasis (including without limit the amount of practical, theory and/or academic experience undertaken) and to merge or combine programmes if such action is reasonably believed to be necessary by the Business School which for the avoidance of doubt shall include where there are insufficient enrolments to make a programme viable (in the Business School’s opinion).
  5. The Business School shall have the right to cancel or suspend the whole or any part of any programme, without incurring additional liability and without being considered to have broken this agreement, where it is prevented from providing it in circumstances beyond its control, including force majeure, sickness/illness of specialized staff, or change of government policy or other action of a government department or similar agency.
  Limitation of Liability
  1. The Business School shall not be liable and expressly excludes responsibility for any loss, cost, expense or damage suffered by the Student as a result of:
  • any loss, theft, misuse or damage to property, including without limit any motor vehicle, cycle, equipment or such other personal belongings of the Student whilst such property is on the Business School’s premises;
  • any loss, expense or damage of any nature suffered by a Student as a consequence of any data processing undertaken by the Student or any other third party using any computer equipment belonging to the Business School;
  • any loss, expense or damage in respect of any programme materials or information provided by any third party other than the Business School;
  • any death or personal injury suffered by the Student unless caused by the Business School’s proven negligence or breach of statutory duty.
  1. The Business School does not accept responsibility and expressly excludes liability to the fullest extent permitted in law for any indirect or consequential loss or damage (including without limit loss of profit, loss of earnings, loss of opportunity, living expenses) howsoever arising, suffered by the Student as a result of any breach by the Business School of this Agreement or any other act or omission of the Business School or its employees or agents.
  Rights and Obligations of the Student
  1. The Student shall meet and comply with the requirements and or standards, set out in this Agreement, including without limit the requirements and or standards relating to conduct, attendance and the submission of programme work. The Business School reserves the right to suspend and or exclude at its discretion any Student failing to meet such standards and or requirements.
  2. Students who are not up to date with their payments will be subject to the following:
  • The Intranet account will block automatically upon the completion of 10 days from an overdue payment.
  • They are not allowed to receive official documents, e.g. Registration letters, Transcripts etc.
  • They are not allowed to receive assessment grades and/or any form of feedback on assessments.
  • If tuition fee instalments are scheduled during or after the final semester assessment period, access to intranet will remain active, but the final assessment grades will be hidden until Tuition is settled.
  1. Student Withdrawal
    If the Student withdraws from the programme 2 weeks after its commencement, the whole amount of tuition fees becomes immediately payable irrespective if the Student was attending or not. The Student is thus obliged to pay the whole outstanding amount of tuition fees immediately. It is at the discretion of the Business School to waive the whole or part of the balance based on special circumstances (with the requirement of supporting documents; e.g., medical conditions).
  1. In addition, the Student is required to:
  • comply with all reasonable requests of Business School officers, staff and authorized contractors or agents.
  • comply with the conditions of use of Business School’s identity cards details of which are set out in the Regulations.
  • behave in a manner which does not cause injury or damage to other persons, in particular to the property of the Business School, its staff, students or visitors and does not impede or prevent the provision of the programme or any other programme or programmes of study or otherwise harm the standing and reputation of the Business School.
  • comply with such special requirements for a programme as may be imposed by law, or professional bodies or other applicable third parties. For clarification, such specialized requirements may include criminal checks, health/medical checks or other conditions of conduct.
  • comply with the Business School’s computer use and associated IT policies.
  1. It is agreed between the parties herein that all Fees shall be payable in full and in advance and no later than the start of the programme, although the Business School may at its discretion agree in writing with the Student to accept payment by a specified number of Instalments as per this Agreement. The Student shall be responsible for the payment of the Fees even if a Sponsor has agreed to pay the Fees. It is the responsibility of the Student to ensure (where applicable) that the Sponsor pays the Fees. For the avoidance of doubt, in the event that a Sponsor fails to pay the fees as may be agreed between the Sponsor and the Student, the Student will remain solely responsible for payment. Payment by instalments does not limit the Student’s liability for payment of the total Fees due.
  2. Upon the request of the Business School, the ancillary programme costs shall be payable in full and in advance no later than the start date of the programme to the Business School. The Student shall be responsible for the payment of the Ancillary programme Costs even if a Sponsor has agreed to the pay the ancillary programme costs. It is the responsibility of the Student to ensure (where applicable) that the Sponsor pays the ancillary programme costs. For the avoidance of doubt, in the event that a Sponsor fails to pay the ancillary programme costs as may be agreed between the Sponsor and the Student, the Student will remain responsible solely for the payment.
  3. The Student accepts that, if he/she is in debt to the Business School for any reason, including without limit non-payment of any Fees (in whole or part) and/or the ancillary programme costs, the Business School may (at its discretion) take one or more of the following actions:
  • forthwith by notice suspend and/or exclude the Student from the programme;
  • refuse to register the Student for any programme examination;
  • withhold assessment results or awards/ certificates/ diplomas;
  • undertake appropriate recovery and/or legal action for recovery of such Fees and ancillary programme costs and the Student will be responsible for all costs and expenses incurred by the Business School and/or by a third party acting on behalf of the Business School.
  1. In addition to these, some programmes require students to attend educational visits. Details of the visit costs and dates will be given by the tutor. Payment of these fees must be made before attendance on the visit is permitted.
  2. If the Student fails to make any payment due to the Business School under this Agreement by the due date for payment, then the Business School may charge the Student interest on the overdue amount at the rate of 8% per annum. Such interest shall accrue on a daily basis from the due date until the date of actual payment of the overdue amount, whether before or after a court judgment.
  3. Note: For Master students enrolled on the Part-Time mode i.e. 2 Years, a registration fee is to be paid on an annual basis.
  Refund
  1. In accordance with the Fees Policy, the full Fee is payable even in the event the Student decides not to complete the programme after its commencement.
 
  1. Time of Withdrawal
  • 2 weeks before classes start: 70% on Tuition Fees
  • 1 week before classes start: 50% on Tuition Fees
  • After classes have commenced (up to 2 weeks): 40% on Tuition Fees
  • After the lapse of two weeks from the day of the registration and after classes have commenced: 0%
    The above refunds apply ONLY for tuition fees (NO refund is given for registration fees) and in case of CASH PAYMENTS and only when the TOTAL amount of the annual fees has been paid. In the case of students paying by instalments or post-dated cheques before or after the commencement of classes, NO REFUND will be made. If, for any reason, a student decides to withdraw from his/her studies BEFORE the programme is duly completed, the Business School will demand that the student pays all outstanding fees. For overseas students, a 50% refund applies in cases where a student does not come to Cyprus. However, after the arrival of the student in Cyprus OR the issuing of the VISA, irrespective of whether the student comes or does not come to Cyprus, NO REFUND will be made.
  1. If the programme fails to run for whatever reason or is cancelled within six weeks of its commencement, the Business School will make full refund to the Student or the Sponsor as appropriate such proportion of the Fees paid as the Business School deems reasonable. For the avoidance of any doubt, no refund will be payable in respect to the ancillary programme costs as this will be considered the property of the Student.
  2. The Fees and or the ancillary programme costs will not be refunded where the Student is excluded and or suspended from the Business School as a consequence of the Student’s unreasonable behavior and or as a consequence of the Student failing to comply with this Agreement.
  3. In any instance where the Business School makes a refund as described in clause 19 above, the Business School shall be released from any responsibility to the Student or Sponsor for failure to provide or complete the provision of a programme, and from any related costs, damages, losses or expenses or demands which may arise either directly or indirectly.
  Notices and/or service of writ of summons and/or court or legal documents and/or notices related to breach of contract
  1. The parties to this agreement agree and consent that any notice in pursuance of the present agreement and or any court or legal document and or any writ of summons and or any notices related to a law suit and or breach of contract can be delivered and serviced at the addresses mentioned above on the first page of this Agreement.
  Breach or default
  1. It is stipulated that all the above terms, conditions and clauses are of the essence of the present agreement and both parties hereby declare that themselves and their successors, executors, administrators, heirs and assigns are bound by this agreement.
  2. Without prejudice to any other remedy mentioned in this agreement, any party in breach of this agreement shall be liable to the payment of damages to the other in respect thereof.
  3. The present agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the Laws of Cyprus.
