You will learn all the principles of accounting and finance, while developing the key skills to excel in the financial marketplace. Our tutors are professionally qualified and work in the industry, giving you the benefit of their experience and knowledge. On this course, you will learn the principles of accounting and finance, while developing the key skills you need to succeed in the financial marketplace. When you graduate, you will gain maximum exemptions from professional exams – no institution offers more exemptions from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) exams. You will also develop the practical skills essential for success in your chosen career. In five years, you can earn a prestigious Honours degree together with a professional accounting qualification.

Course Overview
If you want to succeed in accounting or finance then you need to learn the fundamentals of accounting and finance and there’s no better place to do this than on the BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance course at UWL. By giving you the information, the tools, the techniques and the experience needed to devise creative solutions to the full range of accounting and finance problems, this three-year course gives you a real foot in the door of this competitive world.

Accounting, as a subject, is constantly changing and in order to adapt to the needs of modern-day business, we know how essential it is that this course also develops to keep up with these changes.

The course provides the maximum exemptions (9 papers) from the ACCA examinations.

Teaching Methods
How you learn is almost as important as what you learn, and it is our job to ensure we give you all the information you need in as interesting and varied a way as possible. So there will be lectures, seminars, tutorials and workshops, where you will listen, learn, discuss and gain hands-on experience of how business and finance work. We aim to combine traditional academic teaching with up-to-date training in the skills needed to be successful in the modern world.

Requirement and Conditions

Admission requirement

• Students who have been selected by the University and had a High School Leaving Certificate 17/20
• Have selected the “Economic” path in high School
• 5.5 IELTS or 15/20 in English in High School
• 15/20 in Mathematics on the High School Leaving Certificate or equivalent

Parameters during the 3 years

• Positive feedback from team and supervisors
• Maintaining a high GPA in University
• Maintaining a 2:1 grade each year
• Passing all modules which are the exemptions in ACCA

• Solid performance during the interview
• Effective communication skills withthoughtful responses
• Ability to articulate well-structuredand detailed answers
• Proficient communication in the English language

Qualifying for a permanent position & ACCA training contact:
• Attaining positive feedback and meeting the required GPA
