Debbie Phylactou holds a degree in Human Resources Management and Industrial Relations from the RMIT University of Melbourne, Australia. She has held several management posts in HR in various industries in Melbourne, including the Airline Industry and heavy manufacturing organisations. She also sat on Industrial Relations Tribunals, specialising in employment law. Furthermore, she worked at Latrobe University in Melbourne to set up and coordinate the Occupational health and Safety department. Relocating to Cyprus, she was involved in the HR field in the largest tourism organisations and was Head of Human Resources. She has been actively involved with external government organisations, the employment court and Trade Unions. Parallel to her full-time career activities, she has been a lecturer at CIM-Cyprus Business School since 1994 as well as a lecturer for the University of West London. Coupled with her industry knowledge and academic contributions, she prides herself on the success of her students since 1994, following their career achievements and ongoing development.
