Nicholas Stephanou was born in Athens and comes from a seafaring family. He graduated from the University of Piraeus from the Department of Maritime Studies in 2010 and in the same year obtained the Shipping Gnosis Certificate from the Association of Hellenic Shipbrokers. Nicholas completed his postgraduate studies in 2019 with an MBA in Shipping from CIM. He has experience in the crew department since 2010 working in various shipping companies. Nicholas was a board member of the Younghsip organization from 2013 to 2015 and remains an active member. He is also a member of the Institute of Shipbrokers (MICS) since 2024 and is a mentor in the mentorwave program of the WISTA organization. From 2023 he works as a part time lecturer at the MIEEK institute and from 2024 as a part time lecturer at the CIM institute. From middle of October 2024 Nicholas will commence his employment as a Catering Officer at Oceanic, a V.Group company. And as from December 2021 he is a proud father of a baby boy.
