Marina has obtained her law degree from Lancaster University in July 2011 (LLB Hons) and her LLM in International Commercial and Business Law in September 2012 from the University of Leeds.
In October 2012, Marina started her PhD at the University of Leeds in the area of European Consumer Law which she successfully finished in July 2016. Marina has been teaching at the University of Leeds for 3 years before relocating to Cyprus to join P.N. KOURTELLOS & ASSOCIATES LLC in September 2016 to start her practice as a trainee lawyer.
Following the successful completion of her legal training and her call to the Cyprus Bar in 2017, Marina has thereafter become a member of the Litigation Department of the above Law Firm. Marina’s practice areas include areas of Civil Law, Corporate Law, European Law, Family Law, the Law of Trusts, Real Estate and Property Law, Wills and Probate.
